Abstract The cabin section of an amphibious aircraft undergoes intense hydrodynamic and aerodynamic loads during water take-off landing. These are crucial for its structural design strength analysis. Therefore, a impact test the is essential optimization. However, full-scale model costly time-consuming due to large size. This study proposes method that combines partial similarity equivalent based on theory. It constructs half-scale has stiffness model. reduces cost improves efficiency. First, simplified as wedge, components designed individually dimensional analysis equivalence validated by finite element simulation theoretical results.
